Chemical Peels
Image Chemical Peels philosophy is to “Age Later”. They are a safe and effective way to reveal your skin’s natural beauty. Chemical peels are used to resurface the outer layers of the skin. This treatment can also help to correct skin imperfections such as acne, wrinkles, pigmentation, and redness caused by rosacea.
It is important to remember that a series of treatments as well as at home care is essential to obtain optimal results.

Each Peel treatment comes with a post-treatment kit to be used for the week post peel. This kit is a $30 value at no extra charge to the client.
For optiminal results, most chemical peels should be performed every 10 – 14 days. Once the desired results are achieved, it is recommended that every 4 weeks a maintenance chemical peel should be performed to keep the skin in the desired state. It is highly recommended to receive a series of 6 – 8 peels to receive the maximum results.
Chemical Peel Treatments
Chemical Peel consultation will determine which of the following treatments is best suited to the client:
Signature Lift – This revolutionary 4-Layer facelift will change the image of your skin. Vitamin C, glycolic acid and highly active enzymes speed up cellular turnover, brighten, tighten and lighten your skin in just one treatment.
Wrinkle Lift – This ultra-resurfacing glycolic and retinol treatment exfoliates, leaving skin firmer and healthier. Visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines.
Lightening Lift – This mega-lightening treatment uses a cocktail of lightening and brightening agents to reduce sun spots, brown spots and the redness caused by rosacea.
Acne Lift – A beta-hydroxy acid resurfacing treatment to reduce acne and smooth the skin after just one treatment.
Ormedic Lift – A papaya, pineapple, pumpkin and mango infused organic non-chemical peel. Regenerates, restores dull looking skin. *Safe for pregnant clients*

Treatment Process
Pre-Treatment: Use of Image Skincare products for a minimum 2 weeks prior to peeling allows even penetration of chemical peel. The products thin the epidermis to reduce peeling. Accelerates healing and reduces post peel complications. Healthy skin heals better and quicker, this can only be achieved by conditioning the skin with Image products.
During Treatment: A client specific chemcial peel will performed as per the chemical peel consult.
Post Treatment: For most clients, a light flaking begins within 48 hours. It is impossible to pre-determine how much will occur. The shedding process usually subsides within 2 – 3 days. Not all clients will experience peeling. If peeling does occur, it is important to allow the natural shedding process. A slight redness will occur immediately following chemical peeling.
Post Treatment Kit: (Please not that the 1st night following peel, DO NOT use the Hydrating Enzyme Mask.) Use the kit for 1 week post peel, and follow the directions on the box. Then go back to the regular Image skincare regime.
Make-up: SST Mineral Make-up is recommended for the first 24 hours, otherwise you must go 24 hours without make-up.
